ANALYSIS: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has become an intriguing waiver wire add for those looking to find stat-stuffing potential. The 20-year-old is averaging 8.3 points a game on 48.8% shooting while adding in 3.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.4 threes, 1.0 steals and 87.5% free throw shooting in 25.9 minutes per game.

Gilgeous-Alexander put his full repertoire on display Sunday against the Washington Wizards, posting 10 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one three-pointer made in 28 minutes of action. The rookie continues to shine in his second-unit role and has run into extra minutes this season in any game that has turned into a blowout for the Los Angelas Clippers.

The problem for Gilgeous-Alexander is that Patrick Beverley will most likely continue to see his usual allotment of minutes going forward because of his immense upside on the defensive side of the ball.
