BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team PPR Leagues

ANALYSIS: Shane Vereen has had three games where his PPR stats would have warranted playing him, but unfortunately he has also thrown in four games that were true stinkers. While he definitely has to be owned in PPR scoring leagues for his potential, it’s annoying to not be able to trust him more as a plug and play option.
It isn’t even as though the games where he’s had strong receiving stats were necessarily easily pegged as defenses that they would attack through the air. Games against Washington and Buffalo would seem like the ones that would call for a receiving option of out the backfield rather than traditional rushing, yet he tallied zero receptions against each of them. His biggest games have come against the Falcons and the 49ers, and neither of them has a particularly scary defensive front. He had eight receptions in each of those games.
The addition of Orleans Darkwa to the running back committee that already had Vereen, Rashad Jennings, and Andre Williams only makes things more difficult, although Vereen remains the only real passing down back. Darkwa’s emergence affects Jennings and Williams a lot more than Vereen.
