Start/Sit Data Overview
This weekly piece considers the pitcher’s opponents, their outlook against lefties and righties, some ballpark factors, and historical splits. With all of this information, we then provide our start/sit recommendations for each starting pitcher matchup for the approaching week of fantasy baseball.
Each player will be valued with a Start/Sit recommendation, we are also including a "Score" column this year to display the level of confidence in that pick. Scores go from 0-100 in increments of five. The higher, the better! They are also color-coded, as you'll see.
Legend:
- Proj GS - the number of starts the starter is projected to make in the week's scoring period.
- Score - A metric of confidence, from 0-100 in increments of five. The higher, the better for the pitcher.
This chart is updated daily as probable starters are constantly changing with game postponements, injuries, and other events.
