BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 42% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Stevie Johnson put up a great 6-82-1 line in his San Diego Chargers debut against the Detroit Lions. Keenan Allen's fantastic game may have overshadowed Stevie's performance unless you were specifically looking for it. Still available in over half of Fleaflicker leagues, the veteran wide out clearly has the trust of Philip Rivers and the route running skills to be a viable option for you if you need a WR3/Flex guy. Week 2 has the Chargers squaring up against a strong defense in the Bengals, so Rivers may need to rely even more on those underneath quick routes to a guy like Johnson. While Ladarius Green did show he can ball, Antonio Gates being out does improve Johnson's chances a bit. Johnson should be in a top option for Rivers when he drops back, and you should feel good about rostering Johnson, especially if you're an owner that lost DeSean Jackson or T.Y. Hilton and need a fill in.
