Week 2 NFL Preseason - DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL Preseason is underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Tonight, we will look at a mixture of plays for Week 2 of the NFL Preseason.

Fantasy Score and Single Stat NFLP Totals

Jalen Hurts less than 13.5 rushing yards - Hurts played two series in his first preseason game last week against the Steelers and completed three of his seven passes for 54 yards. He also only ran the ball one time for four yards. While he is likely to see an extra series or possibly two in this game against New England, he is not likely to run as much in the preseason due to the possibility of getting injured. The Patriots were also relatively solid in 2020 in keeping quarterbacks behind the line of scrimmage as they allowed an average of just 16 rushing yards per game to the position. This being said, the Jalen Hurts over 87.5 passing yards could also be a solid play, but the two cannot be combined in a singular play.

Jalen Reagor over 20.5 receiving yards - Reagor should see a bit more playing time in this game to help build a rapport with Hurts, which is why I like the over here. He saw three targets and caught two balls for 20 yards in his first preseason game against the Steelers last Thursday night. He should be able to beat this Patriots defense for 20 yards and could make for a nice pairing with the Jalen Hurts over 78.5 passing yards.

N'Keal Harry over 20.5 receiving yards - While Harry was not involved much in Week 1 of the preseason (he hauled in just one pass for four yards), he should hopefully get more involved this week against the Eagles. Harry requested a trade early in the offseason, but showed up to camp on time and has looked good in camp by all accounts while trying to work his way up the depth chart. He should see plenty of playing time in this game against an Eagles Defense that allowed nearly 150 yards per game to the wide receiver position in 2020. While this number may not seem that high, Harry will likely see more playing time against the Eagles reserves than their starters.

Mac Jones over 7.4 fantasy score - This could be a bit dicey as Jones only achieved 3.5 fantasy points in his first preseason game, but his volume is what we want to look at here. Jones completed 13 of 19 passes for 87 yards and attempted two rushes for zero yards. He is viewed as the future solution at quarterback in New England and will likely see more playing time as the preseason progresses to get him familiar with NFL-style defenses. We are really just looking for him to be in this game long enough to toss a touchdown pass and that could certainly be doable given his volume and the fact the Eagles allowed 24 touchdown passes a season ago.

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
