PrizePicks NFL DFS Prop Picks - Giants vs. Washington Thursday Night Football

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some fantasy prop picks for the Thursday Night Football game between the New York Giants and the Washington Football Team.

Fantasy Score and Single-Stat NFL Totals

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Daniel Jones over 231.5 passing yards - As it stands now, the Giants are three-point underdogs in this one, so I always like to see if a quarterback that is a dog is capable of throwing for over the total and Jones is certainly capable here. In Week 1, he threw for 267 yards against a tough Broncos Defense. Now, he will be facing the Washington Football Team who just allowed Justin Herbert to torch them for 337 passing yards. While I do not expect WFT pass defense to be that bad moving forward, 240 yards is achievable for Jones in this one.

Antonio Gibson over 16.0 fantasy score - As long as Gibson plays and is in the lineup, I feel pretty solid with this number on him after he carried the rock 20 times for 90 yards and hauled in three of five targets for 18 yards Sunday against the Chargers. The Giants just allowed Melvin Gordon III and Javonte Williams to combine for 146 yards on the ground across 26 carries. This is a home game for WFT and they are projected to win by three, which should mean some additional carries down the stretch for Gibson as well.

Sterling Shepard over 12.5 fantasy score - Shepard was a favorite target of quarterback Daniel Jones on Sunday against the Broncos as he hauled in seven of nine targets for 113 yards and a score. Shepard has also been a favorite of Jones for some time as he also averaged nearly eight targets per game in 2020. While Kenny Golladay will eventually cut into the target share for Shepard, I expect Jones to continue to look Shepard's way frequently in the early going. Shepard also has 12 receptions on 16 targets for 115 receiving yards and a score in his previous two contests against WFT as well as a carry for 18 yards. He should be a key piece of the offense in this one.

Other Recommendations: Antonio Gibson over 65.5 rushing yards, Taylor Heinicke over 19.5 rushing yards, Logan Thomas over 11.o fantasy score

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
