Can Help Now and Later - Week 14 Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
Jermaine Kearse (WR, NYJ) - 46% owned (100% FAAB)
Since the Jets Week 11 bye, Kearse has 21 targets, 16 catches and 48.2 PPR points. He has a 29% team target share and a WOPR of 0.62. Especially in PPR leagues, Kearse is looking like a weekly WR3. His schedule is good too with games against a Broncos defense that looks like a shell of itself, then the Saints and Chargers.
Mike Wallace (WR, BAL) - 35% owned (100% FAAB)
Wallace has 20 targets, 307 air yards and a 0.78 WOPR over the last two games and appears to be Flacco's number one target now. He offers big weekly upside with his 15.3 aDot over that stretch. Wallace gets a matchup with a Steeler's secondary that has struggled of late followed by the Browns and Colts.
Dede Westbrook (WR, JAC) - 28% owned (100% FAAB)
Over the last two weeks, Westbrook leads the Jaguars in targets, receptions, air yards and WOPR. He is tied with Marqise Lee for PPR points scored over that time. And he's only played three NFL games. Westbrook should only continue to get better. Westbrook faces a depleted Seahawks secondary, then has soft matchups with the Texans and 49ers.
Marquise Goodwin (WR, SF) - 32% owned (75% FAAB)
With Jimmy Garoppolo getting the start, Goodwin led the 49ers with eight targets. He caught all eight of them for 99 yards and had a 22% target share. This offense looked much better with Garoppolo and Goodwin appears to be his favorite target. Goodwin gets two great matchups over his next two, the Texans and Titans, but then has to face the Jaguars in Week 16. Still, he can help you get to the ship at least.
Can Help In A Pinch - Week 14 Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
Josh Doctson (WR, WAS) - 47% owned (50% FAAB)
Doctson now has touchdowns in back to back games, and only Jamison Crowder has more air yards then Doctson over that stretch. Unfortunately his upcoming schedule is brutal as he will likely be shadowed by Casey Hayward followed by Patrick Peterson.
Corey Davis (WR, TEN) - 45% owned (40% FAAB)
Davis has been disappointing over the last two weeks with Rishard Matthews out as it appears he hasn't been able to handle opposing team's number one corners. He should benefit when Matthews returns and still offers big time upside for teams who don't need to roll him out this week.
Trent Taylor (WR, SF) - 0% owned (10% FAAB, PPR Only)
Like Goodwin, Taylor benefited from Garoppolo getting the start. He caught all six of his targets for 92 yards and had 15.2 PPR points. He only had 55 air yards which means owners in standard leagues will probably want to leave him on the wire. If you're in a PPR league he can be a nice floor play.
Ryan Grant (WR, WAS) - 2% owned (5% FAAB)
Grant surprisingly led Washington in targets, air yards and WOPR in their Week 13 Thursday night game. He has two touchdowns in his last three games and could be carving out a larger role in this passing game. He's worth a stash for owners who don't need him just yet.
Johnny Holton (WR, OAK) - 1% owned (2-3% FAAB)
With Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper both out, Holton led the team with seven targets and 85 air yards. Crabtree will be back from his suspension but there is a chance Cooper will still not be ready. If he isn't, Holton should slot in as the number two and gets a great matchup against a struggling Chiefs defense.
Time To Say Goodbye
Chris Hogan (WR, NE) - 75% owned
Hogan hasn't practiced in four weeks with a shoulder injury and there is no timetable on his return. He's worth a drop to add someone who can help you win now.
Martavis Bryant (WR, PIT) - 61% owned
It's over, Bryant isn't happening in 2017. He's the fourth option behind Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Will Fuller (WR, HOU) - 48% owned
Fuller is still owned in almost half of Yahoo leagues despite having not played in three weeks and with no timetable for his return. Plus in his two games with Tom Savage he has four catches for 47 yards.
