Happy Flag Day, and also happy my birthday, and also happy four-game WNBA slate! It's a big day, and we've got two-thirds of the league playing. There should be some big defensive battles -- the Sun visiting the Lynx??? -- and also a rematch of last Sunday's Aces/Liberty game that gave New York their first win of the season.
In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/14/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards
Kayla McBride (G, Las Vegas Aces) – vs New York Liberty (DK: $9,500, FD: $6,600)
The Liberty allow the second-most points per game in the WNBA and are allowing opponents to shoot the fourth-highest three-point percentage against them. Enter Kayla McBride, who sits fifth in the WNBA in points per game and is shooting 60 percent from three. Now, the Aces are last in the league in three-point attempts, but McBride has attempted eight threes over the past two games, so the team's reliance on the long ball might be trending upwards. That's a good sign against the Liberty.
Asia Durr (G, New York Liberty) – @ Las Vegas Aces (DK: $6,100, FD: $5,000)
I like Durr and teammate Kia Nurse both for the simple reason that the Liberty are currently facing a crisis in terms of having playable bench pieces. On Wednesday, Nurse actually played all 40 minutes in a win against the Minnesota Lynx. But Durr's a little bit more of a value on DraftKings, so let's talk about her.
Durr missed the first meeting between these teams with an illness, but against the Lynx -- the team that allows the fewest points per game -- Durr was on fire, scoring 20 points on 10-for-16 shooting and adding a pair of steals to go along with two rebounds and two assists. She was 0-for-4 from deep, though, and is hitting just 18.8 percent of her shots from deep, which is a bit of a worrisome sign. If the Aces were more susceptible to the three, I'd be going with Nurse here, but Durr's been strong in the midrange and in getting to the hoop, two things she should be able to do in this matchup.
FanDuel Alert: Pricing for FanDuel came out a little late and Nurse is still cheaper than Durr on there, so feel free to play Kia Nurse in that format instead of Durr.
Marina Mabrey (G, Los Angeles Sparks) - @ Phoenix Mercury (DK: $3,800, FD: $4,200)
The Mercury are allowing opponents to shoot 46.6 percent from three. Mabrey is attempting 3.6 threes per game in 15 minutes off the Sparks bench. If you want to grab a low-priced player to fill out your lineup just to see what happens, the matchup for Mabrey in this one is screaming I'm going to hit some threes. Her 1-for-5 mark from deep last game came against that stout Lynx defense, and her 12 attempts from distance over the past two games suggest a heavy workload in this meeting.
WNBA - DFS Forwards
Natasha Howard (F, Seattle Storm) – @ Washington Mystics (DK: $11,600, FD: $8,300)
Howard is my favorite of the high-priced options on this slate because she feels like the player with the highest floor in the league right now. She's third in the league in scoring. Tied for sixth in rebounds. Tied for second in steals. And while Jonquel Jones, the other high-priced forward with the 40-plus point average on DraftKings, faces a Lynx team that's allowing the fewest points and rebounds per game of any team in the league, Howard gets the Mystic, who've done a good job limiting rebounds but a less good job limiting scoring.
Chiney Ogwumike (F, Los Angeles Sparks) – @ Phoenix Mercury (DK: $8,200, FD: $7,100)
This is a really good slate for forwards, so for this spot I grabbed the cheapest of this next tier of forwards that I felt confident in, which is Chiney Ogwumike of the Sparks. Ogwumike has scored in double figures in four straight games should provide the Sparks with some solid rebounding numbers against a Mercury squad that's allowing the fourth-most rebounds per game in the league. Ogwumike should provide nearly equal production to her sister, Nneka, at a more affordable cost.
Amanda Zahui B (F, New York Liberty) - @ Las Vegas Aces (DK: $7,300, FD: $6,200)
I'm not sure how much longer it will be until Zahui B leaves the Liberty to go fulfill her EuroBasket commitments, but I know she's leaving at a bad time as Zahui B has been a force over the past few games. Never really known much as a rebounder or blocker, Zahui B's been giving the Liberty both this season, and when these two teams met last Sunday, she blocked five shots while adding a pair of steals as well. The Liberty don't have too many sources of offense, either, and Zahui B's ability to contribute inside and outside will put her in good positions against the Aces.
