WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Sun @ Sky

When: 2:00 PM ET

Watch: CBS

Players of Interest: An early start on Saturday as the Sun visit Chicago to face the Sky. These are teams going in opposite directions right now, as the Sun are without Jonquel Jones.

Jones being out has benefit a surprising player in Connecticut: Kaila Charles. Back-to-back games with nine field goal attempts has made Charles a rising name, as she's averaging 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds over those two games. Charles is a great value play right now.

DeWanna Bonner is an obvious play for the Sun as she's seeing a lot of volume, though she shot just 18.8 percent last game. Inefficiency is something you have to deal with sometimes when it comes to Bonner. You might want to play Jasmine Thomas too, as she had 14 field goal attempts last game and shot 57.1 percent. She also had four assists. And Brionna Jones is another solid play because of her rebounding, grabbing 12 of them in the meeting between these teams the other night.

For Chicago, there's almost a little too much ball sharing to make anyone a slam dunk play. Candace Parker and Courtney Vandersloot are top options because both can score and playmake, but don't sleep on any of the starters. Kahleah Copper has been the team's best scorer this year, if you want to bet on her upside.

As for a cheaper play, Stefanie Dolson has been playing a lot. She was just 1-for-6 from the floor last game, but did add five rebounds and a block. If you play a non-Candace big from this team, it should probably be Dolson.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Fever @ Mystics

When: 7:00 PM ET

Watch: WNBA League Pass

Players of Interest: The Fever put up a real fight on Thursday against the Storm but came up short. They continue to play veteran players like Tiffany Mitchell and Jessica Breland too much for a rebuilding team, but that's good news for DFS players, because both are solid value options.

Teaira McCowan looks like she's coming off the bench now. Curious decision, but she's producing in those minutes and remains arguably the best play for the Fever even with er new role.

Kelsey Mitchell is an intriguing play. She has some incredible highs at times, but then other times she shoots herself out of fantasy viability. I think this matchup is probably a decent one for her, but I can't say I feel great about that prediction.

For the Mystics, injuries have them in a weird place. Myisha Hines-Allen and Erica McCall are out, but Tina Charles is back from a one-game absence after attending the premiere of her film. She's going to be the main focal point for the Mystics in this one and should be the top DFS play on this slate. Meanwhile, Theresa Plaisance will get a lot of minutes -- she played 34 last game and finished with 25 points and six rebounds. Don't expect that level of production, but do expect her to play some really good minutes and produce in those minutes.

And then there's Ariel Atkins, who is coming off of a 32-point game. Will she do something like that again? Not with Tina back, but Atkins is playing at an incredibly high level right now and the Mystics need to get her the basketball. Against this Indiana defense, I'm expecting a strong showing from Atkins, even if she doesn't get to 32 points.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Lynx @ Wings

When: 8:00 PM ET

Watch: WNBA League Pass

Players of Interest: The Lynx had a pretty easy win over the Wings on Thursday. Can Dallas get things closer on Saturday and play like they did in the early third quarter?

On the Lynx side, Minnesota has four players who are strong plays on a nightly basis: Napheesa Collier, Sylvia Fowles, Kayla McBride, and Layshia Clarendon. Collier is the top play because she's the team's most consistent scorer, while Fowles will be in line to get plenty of rebounds against this Dallas frontcourt.

McBride's a hit-or-miss play usually, but this defense is pretty porous, so I'll likely play McBride.

As for other plays, Damiris Dantas had nine points and six rebounds last game. She's a solid play.

For Dallas, Arike Ogunbowale is the team's best scorer and had 20 on Thursday against this Lynx team. Her volume makes her the most reliable player on this team.

After some weird things involving minutes, Allisha Gray played 25 on Thursday, shooting 13 shots and scoring 10 points. Gray's definitely struggling with her shot, but if Vickie Johnson gives her minutes, then she'll give you solid minutes,

Satou Sabally has also struggled with consistency, but she's arguably the most talented player on this Wings team. She was just 2-for-7 from the field last game, but still managed 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists on an off night. =

Finally, I think there's some value with Kayla Thornton. The former UTEP star scored 10 points last game, her best mark since she scored 15 on June 1st. Her minutes have been pretty consistently in the mid 20s and she's giving you a handful of rebounds and a steal every night.
