In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/19/20. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards
Courtney Williams (G, Atlanta Dream) – vs Washington Mystics (DK: $9,500, FD: $5,900)
Williams remains really undervalued on FanDuel, while her DraftKings price has made some leaps. With Chennedy Carter still sidelined, Williams has to be the cog that makes this Dream machine run, and while things haven't run smoothly -- look at the win/loss record -- Williams has still done her part. Double-digit points in five of the last six games. Three games in a row with at least 17 shot attempts. Four in a row with at least six rebounds, including a 14-rebound effort against Phoenix. Williams does everything on this Atlanta team and now gets the reeling Mystics.
Leilani Mitchell (G, Washington Mystics) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $7,400, FD: $5,300)
On the other side of this matchup, Atlanta's defense has taken the lead as the team with the WNBA's worst defensive rating. Mitchell has had some rough spots this year, but has also shown herself to be capable of putting up something like 12 points, three boards, and five assists. In fact, she's had exactly five assists in four of her last five games, and while the sky's not the limit for Mitchell, a meeting with a struggling Atlanta team could help her find some of the efficiency she's been lacking and help her reach a season-high in points.
Riquna Williams (G, Los Angeles Sparks) – vs Phoenix Mercury (DK: $7,200, FD: $5,300)
Riquna Williams's role for L.A. seems to be that she shows up off the bench, scores a bunch of points while taking a lot of threes, and...well, that's pretty much it. She's got double-digit points in four straight games, including a pair of 21-point performances. She made seven threes against the Fever, and while her rebound and assist numbers aren't going to blow anyone away -- the last time she had more than two of either stat in a game was July 30th -- she can potentially poke away a steal or two, and her scoring upside is high on a Sparks team that really needs her bench production.
WNBA - DFS Forwards
Napheesa Collier (F, Minnesota Lynx) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $11,000 FD: $7,800)
With Sylvia Fowles still out, Collier remains the focal point for Minnesota. So far, she's done a great job in that role.
Fowles last played on August 13th, though she was only in that game for one minute before exiting. Counting that game, Collier's last two games without Fowles have been some next-level stuff:
Fowles is a great rebounder. Her backup center, Damiris Dantas, isn't, which means Collier is having to take on that responsibility. She's responded with double-doubles in the last two games, plus one in the Mystics game when Fowles did play. Factor in that the Wings defense hasn't been great this year, and Collier should be in for another huge day.
Elizabeth Williams (F, Atlanta Dream) – vs Washington Mystics (DK: $7,8700, FD: $6,000)
Williams is basically always going to be my favorite player in this price range on most slates, because she's a consistent performer.
Williams is among the league leaders in field goals made inside of five feet, with her 3.6 per game putting her in a tie for second with Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner. The Mystics allow the fourth-fewest paint points per game on the year, but injuries have hurt Washington, and over their last three games they've actually allowed the fourth-most paint points. This Mystics team is suddenly susceptible to a player like Elizabeth Williams, who is currently averaging her second-most points ever and shooting 58.1 percent from the floor.
Nia Coffey (F, Phoenix Mercury) – vs Los Angeles Sparks (DK: $4,900, FD: $3,800)
I wanted to recommend someone under 5K on DraftKings and 4K on FanDuel to serve as a potential punt option on this slate, and while I don't really love most of the options in that range, I landed on Coffey, as she's had a couple decent games lately. Eight points with two threes, plus three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks last game. 10 points with two threes and six rebounds against Dallas.
Of course, in between those games was a scoreless game against Atlanta and a three-poin game against Chicago, so Coffey's far from a safe option. But we've seen the Mercury start to go to her more offensively, so if you need a dart throw at this price, don't be too afraid to give her a shot.
