We have four WNBA games on tap for Tuesday night. The Wings and Dream take each other on in the early game, then the other three start around the same time, three hours later.
I'll be providing daily fantasy lineup picks for the WNBA this season here at RotoBaller. In addition, I'll be sprinkling in some basic betting picks. Not going to get complicated since there's limited space in this piece, but I'll throw you a bet or two each day that I like and because I think this is important, that I'll be making myself.
In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/21/22. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slate locks on 6/21/2022 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Forwards
Dearica Hamby (Las Vegas Aces) - vs CHI - DK: $9,200, FD: $7,600
Last time Hamby faced Chicago, she had 14 points and 14 rebounds. In 2021, she had 17 points and seven rebounds in her one regular-season meeting with the Sky. It seems like Hamby tends to do well against this team. The "Hamby Shot" in 2019 was against Chicago.
She also has four games in a row with 30-plus fantasy points and three games in a row with a field goal percentage of at least 71.4%. Lot of good signs here for Hamby.
Shakira Austin (Washington Mystics) - @ LA - DK: $6,900, FD: $5,300
With Elena Delle Donne resting for this one, we have another game where someone else has to step up in the Mystics frontcourt. Austin is my pick, especially considering Myisha Hines-Allen has really been struggling lately.
Austin is shooting 56.4% from the floor this season. Her per 36 minutes numbers are 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game with 1.5 blocks. In these games where her projected minutes are up, I'll continue to be all over Austin for fantasy purposes.
Teaira McCowan (Dallas Wings) - @ATL - DK: $5,300, FD: $3,600
McCowan is always a double-double threat when she gets minutes. The issue this year has been that she just isn't getting those minutes. When Dallas traded for her, I thought they'd make her the starting center and would give her consistent minutes, something that she hasn't had in her career yet.
Her minutes have been up the last couple of games though, including her 25 minutes against Phoenix, when she was 7-for-10 with 18 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds. While that was her first double-double of 2022, I don't think it'll be her last. We're clearly moving in the direction of McCowan getting the minutes she needs, even if it took too long to get here.
WNBA DFS Lineup Picks: Guards
Skylar Diggins-Smith (Phoenix Mercury) - vs MIN - DK: $10,500, FD: $8,600
Minnesota allows the fourth-most points and most assists per game in the WNBA. SDS is averaging 18.3 points and 5.2 assists per game this season. She's had 45 DraftKings points in two of her last four games and is coming off arguably her best game of the season, with 21 points and 10 assists against Dallas. SDS is a chalky play here, but she's a chalky play for a reason.
Natasha Cloud (Washington Mystics) - @ LA - DK: $9,000, FD: $6,900
The Sparks allow the second-most points per game this season. Cloud will be asked to be the main offensive weapon for the Mystics with Elena Delle Donne resting, so we should see plenty of usage out of the veteran guard. She's had five or more assists in every game this season and in the last game that we didn't see EDD, Cloud took 14 shots, finishing with 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces) - vs CHI - DK: $8,600, FD: $7,400
Earlier in the year, it looked like the Aces were trying to keep Gray's minutes down. That's changed now, as she's played 34-plus minutes in the last two games. She had 16 points, six rebounds and eight assists last game, which followed a 16-point, five-rebound, eight-assist effort in the previous game. She had 18 points and six assists on 50% shooting in the first meeting with the Sky. Riquna Williams being out will also increase Gray's usage.
WNBA Betting Picks for 6/21/2022
Looking to make some WNBA bets? Let's look at some options for you.
Yesterday's Results: 3-2
Mercury Spread (-5.5)
Phoenix is at home. They're 4-2 in their last six games. Minnesota is on the road and is 3-13 overall this season. The Lynx have lost five in a row, with the last three by surprisingly small margins (four, two and one), but this is still a Sylvia Fowles-less team that's been bad defensively and takes on a Mercury team that has some firepower. Pretty confident in Phoenix here.
Sky/Aces O 175
Two of the top three offenses in the WNBA meet on Tuesday night. These two teams combine to average 175.5 points per game. The defenses have been middle of the road in points allowed. These teams only combined for 159 points in their last meeting, but I trust both of these offenses too much for me to expect another low-scoring match between these two teams.
