The Jazz and Warriors haven't even started their series and they are already talking trash. Matt Barnes stated that he wishes Los Angeles had won the first round series because there is more of a night life in LA. Utah did not seem to like that, and this is a series that should end in some fireworks.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for Yahoo on 5/2/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on Yahoo.

Yahoo DFS Guards
Stephen Curry – PG, vs UTA ($47)
Curry looked outstanding against the Blazers in the first round, specifically in the last two games. In those games, he was able to score 60.9 and 58.3 fantasy points. He flashed triple double potential, but he was scoring at an elite rate, as he scored 71 combined points in those games. He gets a tough matchup against the Jazz tonight, but that will likely keep his ownership low, and Curry is the type of player that can dominate any defense. He’s an elite tournament option.
Avery Bradley – SG, vs WAS ($23)
Bradley has been playing at a high level recently, as he has scored at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He played well against the Wizards in their first matchup with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, and four steals. He’s a versatile player that has been a huge part of the Celtics offense during the postseason. The Wizards are a team that loves pushing the pace, and Bradley will continue to see plenty of opportunities to score fantasy points tonight. He can be used in all leagues.
Yahoo DFS Forwards
Gordon Hayward – SF, at GS ($39)
Hayward has taken his game to the next level recently, as he has scored 39.1, 48.9, 47.6, and 56.6 fantasy points in his last four healthy games. He’s scoring at an extremely high level, but he can also contribute in other categories. He gets a great matchup against the Warriors tonight, and Utah will need Hayward’s scoring to keep this game close. He should continue his breakout postseason, and Hayward is an elite option in all leagues.
Joe Johnson – SF, at GS ($19)
Johnson has had his ups and downs this postseason, but he has flashed tremendous upside. He has scored at least 25 fantasy points in four of the seven games against the Clippers. He scored as high as 43.5 fantasy points, and he is locked into big minutes for Utah. He also comes with a solid usage rating, and Johnson is one of the best salary relief options on the slate.
Yahoo DFS Centers
Kelly Olynyk – C, vs WAS ($11)
Olynyk isn’t the flashy player that is going to dominate, but he’s an extremely cheap option. He’s also averaging 19.8 fantasy points per game in the playoffs. He’ll likely be playing around 20 minutes tonight, and he’s a player that can score well and contribute in multiple other categories. He’s also a player that does not need big minutes to dominate in a game, and he’s a great salary relief option on this slate.
