Santiago Espinal, Toronto Blue Jays

36% Rostered

Espinal has been one of the breakout performers this season for the Toronto Blue Jays. He’s seen an extended run of everyday playing time and has taken full advantage of it. Espinal cooled off a bit over the past couple of weeks but has been rounding back into form. Over his past seven games, the rookie has a homer and five RBI while batting .333 and posting a .843 OPS.

Espinal doesn’t hit the ball very hard, but he also doesn’t strike out all too much. The 27-year-old has a 17.4% strike-out percentage and 17.1% whiff rate. He gets on-base at a .322 clip and should keep the average high enough to stay fantasy relevant.

Espinal has also added six homers and 37 RBI to his tally this season. He remains a solid fantasy asset at both corner and middle infield. Espinal is definitely a guy to consider scooping up if he’s available.

Alex Kirilloff, Minnesota Twins

35% Rostered

The Alex Kirilloff breakout is finally here. The 24-year-old has finally gotten going with a standout performance against the Cleveland Guardians earlier this week. Kirilloff picked up three hits including a two-run homer and a double.

Looking back over his past 15 games, Kirilloff is actually hitting a solid .280 with 12 RBI. Since rejoining the big league roster, he is 13-for-47 with a homer, five doubles, five runs scored, and 12 RBI.

The sweet-swinging lefty was absolutely crushing the baseball down at Triple-A before his promotion. It looks like he may finally be settling in at the big league level. It’s highly unlikely, but if Kirilloff is still available in your leagues go get him before it’s too late.

Harold Ramirez, Tampa Bay Rays

4% Rostered

Harold Ramirez is one of the more underrated hitters in the game. He's had a relatively solid big-league career and is having another strong year with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Ramirez added three more hits to his total in Saturday afternoon's 11-5 win over the Blue Jays. The 27-year-old is now hitting .327 on the season and has three homers, 12 doubles, three stolen bases, a .371 OBP, and a .801 OPS. While he doesn't draw many walks, Ramirez also doesn't strike out very much. His 13.8% strikeout percentage ranks in the top 10% in the league. As he did last season with the Guardians, Ramirez puts the ball in play and makes a ton of hard contact.

Ramirez has been red-hot of late, slashing .423/.500/.538 with three RBI, five runs scored, and a stolen base over his past seven games. He won't offer much in the power department, but Ramirez could be a reliable contributor when it comes to average, RBI, runs, and some stolen bases.

Brian Anderson, Miami Marlins

2% Rostered

Anderson made his return from the injured list on Monday. The Marlins infielder was sidelined since the beginning of June with a mild disc bulge in his lumbar spine but was finally able to return to the diamond.

Anderson hasn’t missed a beat, slotting back into the lineup at the hot corner. He launched his third home run of the season on Friday night and added another run-scoring hit to his tally in the 6-3 win over the Nationals. Miami has already said they plan on playing Anderson every day whether it be at third base or in the outfield. Over his career, he’s a .264 hitter, has a .349 OBP, and usually averages around 10-15 homers per season.

Anderson isn’t a star by any means, but he’s certainly a name to keep an eye on over the next few days/weeks.
