Reggie Bush (RB, SF) - 2015 Fantasy Football Sleeper

BALLER MOVE: Target in Late Rounds as a Flex Option or RB3.

CURRENT ADP: 110 STD, 89 PPR

ANALYSIS: Reggie Bush is a PPR beast who still has some playmaking ability left.

If you're expecting to draft a running back who will get you 20-25 touches per game and flirt with 100 yards every week, pray you end up with a player on the small handful of teams that still rely on a single back. For everyone else, finding players who can maximize 10-15 touches per game is key to having a dependable backfield. As a backup running back last year for the Detroit Lions, Reggie Bush caught 40 passes in 11 games and collected 550 yards on 116 touches with two touchdowns.

These are obviously not impressive numbers but Bush is projected to have an expanded role in San Francisco's offense and will be the most experienced running back on the team following the departure of Frank Gore. While it's assumed that second year running back Carlos Hyde will take over the lead back role, it's likely that the 49ers will use a running back by committee approach, leaving plenty of opportunities for Bush to flash some of that open field talent. It's also expected that the 49ers will throw the ball more this season meaning good things for Bush.

If he plays a full season, which is a big if given his injury history, it's not out of the question that Bush approaches 60-70 receptions and 800 total yards from scrimmage. Those numbers translate into a valuable plug-in running back who will likely still be on the board after the 10th round. Draft Bush in the late rounds of PPR leagues as a low-risk, high-reward pick, and you may end up with a reliable RB3 and flex option.
