2 years agoThe Atlanta Hawks have acquired All-Star guard Dejounte Murray in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs. In exchange for Murray, the Hawks are sending Danilo Gallinari, three first round picks (2023, 2025 and 2027) and a 2026 pick swap to the Spurs. Murray had a breakout season in 2021-22, averaging 21.1 points, 9.2 assists, 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game. He'll be joining Trae Young to make up a scary-looking backcourt in Atlanta. Meanwhile, the Spurs will now enter the discussion for the first overall pick in the 2023 draft as the franchise has its sights set on a full-on rebuild.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
