2 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter could be headed for a massive contract at some point in the near future. According to HoopsHype's Michael Scotto, executives around the NBA have gotten the sense that the Hawks view Hunter as a core piece of their future. These executives believe that due to this fact, Hunter could land a long-term deal with an annual salary in the high teens or close to $20 million. The 24-year-old has certainly proven to be a valuable two-way player for the Hawks. Last year in his third NBA season, he logged 29.8 minutes per contest and contributed 13.4 points per game while shooting 44.2% from the field.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
