2 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 1-for-4 with a double in the team's 5-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Monday. With his double, he extended his current hitting streak to nine games. Bichette was a first round pick in many fantasy drafts this past spring and he has yet to deliver first round value for anyone who selected him. Over 80 games on the year, he's slashed .257/.300/.422 with 12 home runs, five stolen bases, 43 RBI and 44 runs. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Bichette, whose underlying metrics all mostly look just like they did last year, when he batted .298/.343/.484 with 29 homers, 25 stolen bases, 121 runs and 102 RBI. Expect to see better production across the board over the second half of the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
