2 years agoAccording to Fred Katz of The Athletic, there is an "excellent chance" that the NBA will investigate the New York Knicks' signing of Jalen Brunson as a potential case of tampering. Brunson signed a four-year, $104 million contract with the Knicks earlier this month. The suspicious element of the signing is that reports of the deal leaked to the media before the two teams were legally able to negotiate. It's unclear what kinds of ramifications could happen if the Knicks were found to be at fault and the likelihood of the team being punished is similarly unclear at this point.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
