MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Max Scherzer OVER 7.5 strikeouts (-125 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Today, let's start with a horse in Max Scherzer. He will be up against the Braves who have posted a less than stellar K rate against right-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of nearly 24%. Max has gone over this total in five of his previous eight starts, one of which was an 11-strikeout performance against these Braves.
Ranger Suarez OVER 4.5 strikeouts (-175 DraftKings Sportsbook)
The odds here are heavily in favor of Suarez getting over the total, and rightfully so, so it may be best to pair him in a parlay today. Suarez will be facing the Reds, who have posted a 28.6% K rate vs. lefties over the previous two weeks, which is ranked sixth-worst in the league. Suarez has gone over this prop in his previous three starts and has also shown some longevity in those starts as he has pitched six or more innings in two of those three starts as well.
George Kirby OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-135 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This may be my favorite spot of the day, and it usually is when the Angels are involved against a right-handed pitcher. Over the previous two weeks, the Angels have posted a K rate of nearly 27% against right-handers, which is ranked second-worst in the league over that span. They have also posted just a 6.6% walk rate and an 82 wRC+ mark, so the struggle is certainly real for them. Meanwhile, Kirby has posted six or more strikeouts in two of his previous three starts, including an eight-strikeout performance against these Angels.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Rhys Hoskins OVER 1.5 total bases (+115 DraftKings Sportsbook)
We have another total base prop at plus odds today that looks like a great spot. Hoskins is crushing left-handed pitching to the tune of a 1.033 OPS with seven home runs and seven doubles across 102 at-bats. He will be facing Nick Lodolo, who has given up seven homers and eight doubles while posting a 1.70 WHIP against right-handed hitters this season. Once Lodolo is done, the worst bullpen in baseball will enter for Hoskins to try and take advantage of.
