Jacoby Brissett Won't Play Against Eagles
2 years agoCleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski is sticking with his plan not to play quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the second preseason game this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Deshaun Watson, who has been suspended for 11 games, won't play in either of the team's final two preseason games, so Joshua Dobbs and Josh Rosen will see action this weekend. The 29-year-old Brissett will serve as the Browns' starting QB until Watson is eligible to return in December, and Cleveland will be hoping he can simply manage the offense and keep them competitive in 2022. Already a run-first offense, the Browns will most certainly rely on their ground game as much as they can, making Brissett a low-end QB2 in superflex fantasy formats.
