ANALYSIS: Kevin Kiermaier posted solid numbers before hitting the DL in late May, but was insufferable upon returning to action after the All-Star break. In 15 July games, Kiermaier went 6-for-42 with no home runs and just two RBI. He may be one of the best defensive outfielders in the game, but that type of production at the plate is just unacceptable.
Well, he may be getting his groove back in August, as the Fort Wayne native is 14-for-58 over has last 15 games played with two dingers, three doubles, seven RBI and three steals. As long as he stays healthy, he will be the every day center fielder in Tampa Bay with a healthy dose of upside.
