7 years agoSatoshi Kodaira nabbed his maiden victory on the PGA Tour this weekend at the RBC Heritage when he defeated Si Woo Kim in a sudden-death playoff. After both players made par on the first two playoff holes, Kodaira nailed a 24-foot putt for birdie at the third to capture the title. Kodaira's career-low round of 63 on Friday and his amazing 66 on Sunday helped to propel him to the championship. Kodaira entered Sunday tied for 12th and was six strokes back of the overnight leader Ian Poulter. Amazingly, this is only the 15th career PGA event for the 28-year-old Kodaira. Preceding his victory this weekend, a T28 at last weekend's Masters was his best finish on tour. With the win, Kodaira will jump from 46th to 27th in the world, and most importantly will gain full-time membership on the PGA Tour. After his excellent back-to-back showings, Kodaira will be a much more popular DFS play the next time he tees it up.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
