7 years agoOllie Schniederjans' first win appeared like it was just around the corner a few months ago. A seventh-place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii and a third-place at the Waste Management Phoenix Open had pretty much everyone wondering when the 24-year-old would finally break through for a victory. Fast forward to the present, and Schniederjans is now on a five-tournament downswing. He has made four of five cuts but doesn't have a top-40 performance to show for it. Schniederjans is one of the most polarizing golfers when it comes to public perception, and it is understandable as to why. Schniederjans' game is flashy and the things he does well he does at a world-class level, but the level of egregious errors you see from him can be equally as grave. There is wind expected in the forecast at the Valero Texas Open and Schniederjans is a very solid wind player based on his low ball-flight trajectory. In his last 50 rounds compared to the field, Schniederjans is 10th in birdies or better gained and 13th in strokes gained around the green. On the flip side, he is only 93rd in strokes gained off the tee and 132nd in greens in regulation gained. Schniederjans' ownership percentage will be lower than usual, and that alone presents him as an interesting GPP flier. His $8,700 price tag on DraftKings makes him the 12th most expensive golfer, and he is sandwiched between players who will be very popular. We are worried that his lack of length off the tee could be an issue for a player who is already struggling with greens in regulation but with roughly a six percent ownership projection, you won't need to have much of Schniederjans to be overweight compared to the field.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
