Ryan Moore Falters at the Travelers Championship
7 years agoComing into the week as one of the most popular DFS plays, Ryan Moore let down a large percentage of the community at the Travelers Championship. Moore shot rounds of 68 and 72 to miss the cut by two strokes. Moore's history at TPC River Highlands mixed with his ideal statistical form for the course put him at an outrageous 33/1 outright betting price and a $9,000 price tag on DraftKings. Despite these abnormal prices for the 64th-ranked golfer in the world, the gambling community as a whole gravitated towards his high potential and overlooked his steep cost. If you take away the Travelers Championship debacle, Moore has been relatively steady all season. He will make for an intriguing player the next time he tees it up, hopefully at a more suitable price for all.
