6 years agoBrooks Koepka shot a two-over par at Carnoustie, finishing in a share of 39th place. Koepka got off to a horrendous start on Thursday, firing a five-over par through his first nine holes before eventually ending the day at one-over par. His two-under par 69 on Friday placed him as a dark horse contender to capture the Claret Jug, but a four-over 75 on Saturday ended any hopes of that. The American will now face a quick turnaround as he travels to Canada for the RBC Canadian Open. Koepka comes into the week as the second betting favorite at 10/1, according to the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.
