6 years agoMatthew Fitzpatrick seems like he should be an ideal fit for Open Championship venues but with the missed cut at Carnoustie, the young Englishman continued his subpar history at the only Major held on foreign soil. Fitzpatrick has failed to make the weekend in two of his four Open Championship appearances, and in his two made cuts, he has only been able to muster a T44 showing both times. The 23-year-old will have many more opportunities in his career to succeed over in Europe and is one of the bright young stars on the PGA and European Tour.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
