6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Elfrid Payton (ankle) is out of Saturday's contest against the San Antonio Spurs due to an ankle injury. Payton continuously getting ruled out the day before the game is bad news for his foreseeable future. For the time being, the 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day, but that could change as news continues to come out about Payton's injury. Tim Frazier got the start on Thursday and would appear to be the team's best bet to start again on Saturday.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
