6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell shot 6-for-18 from the field without any three-pointers or free throw attempts during Wednesday's home loss to the Miami Heat. Russell scored 12 points while adding in five assists, three rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes. With the injury to Caris Levert (ankle), Russell is in line for a much higher usage percentage, but he is going to have to do better than 6-for-18 from the floor to continue being the team's primary option. Russell is only shooting 40.7 percent on the year, and Spencer Dinwiddie has been a bright spot for Brooklyn this season. While Russell should be one of the primary beneficiaries to LeVert's injury, he better look over his shoulder.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
