5 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Omar Narvaez took Rays starter Charlie Morton deep on Saturday night, busting a 16-game homerless drought. The 27-year-old is up to 17 long balls on the season with 52 runs, 42 RBI, and a shiny .292/.365/.475 slash line. Narvaez is in the middle of a rough patch, but has still managed to keep his batting average afloat as he leads all backstops with at least 200 plate appearances in this category. He remains an easy top-10 player at his thin position and owners shouldn't think twice about him significantly dropping off offensively down the stretch run.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
