5 years agoOakland Raiders wide receiver J.J. Nelson is working his way back from an ankle sprain that has sidelined him since the preseason Week 2 game against the Cardinals. It was reported that he's "moving comfortably and re-integrating himself back into the mix" after a two and a half week absence. Nelson should be ready to go for their regular-season opener Monday night against the Broncos, but he likely won't see much of the field. He's the Raiders WR3 behind Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams and will likely only appear in three-wideout sets. Nelson has dynamic playmaking ability, but isn't worth fantasy consideration in any format unless he manages to carve out a starting role.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
