The Raiders will host the Chargers this Thursday Night with the Chargers slight one-point favorites. It's essentially a toss-up, so there are a lot of different ways to go with this slate. It also has all the prospects to be one of the more exciting TNF games to this point, which is always exciting after we've suffered through some stinkers. Let's dive right in!
In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks in FanDuel for Thursday Night Football on November 7th, 2019 (Week 10). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

DFS Quarterbacks - Week 10 Picks
Philip Rivers - LAC (FanDuel $14,000 / DraftKings $10,000)
Against quarterbacks, these two teams are on drastic ends of the scoreboard. Through nine weeks, the Chargers rank sixth against QB’s with 14.57 fantasy points allowed per game. The Raiders, on the other hand, rank dead last with 28.75 FP allowed per game. The Chargers are going to attack this Raiders defense primarily through the air and Rivers is a guy you want to lock-in. I don’t think he’s a tremendous captain target, but I also don’t think you can afford to fade him. He should throw for 250 yards and three scores is always in the realm of possibilities. I don’t see any reason to avoid Rivers in this match-up. If the Chargers Win, Rivers will be the reason. If they lose. Rivers will be playing from behind against the worst secondary in football. Sign me up.
Derek Carr - OAK (FanDuel $14,500 / DraftKings $9,600)
I’m not huge on Derek Carr in this match-up. As I just noted, the Chargers rank sixth against the pass. What I didn’t get to yet was how bad they are against the run. You still have to wait. The point is that the Raiders are going to do their best to run the ball against this weak front and Carr won’t be asked to do that much. There’s always a chance the Raiders fall behind and Carr is asked to throw a bunch, which is why I’ll still have 40% exposure or so.
DFS Running Backs - Week 10 Picks
Josh Jacobs - OAK (FanDuel $14,500 / DraftKings $9,400)
Josh Jacobs is my favorite captain on this showdown slate. The Raiders are at home and facing off with a Chargers defense that has struggled mightily against the run. On average, they rank 26th against the RB with 20.65 fantasy points allowed per game. They’ve also faced a weak set of running backs (Snell, Hyde, Dolphins). Jacobs is going to have another big game and I don’t think you fade him in any format. Even if the Chargers get ahead, the Raiders won’t get back into this game without the involvement of Josh Jacobs. He’s easily my favorite captain.
Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler - LAC (FanDuel $13,000 - $11,500 / DraftKings $7,200 - $7,000)
There’s no right answer between these two guys. The 10-plus catch game out of Ekeler is always a possibility and so are the three combined scores out of Melvin Gordon. The Raiders are middle of the road against the run, but they rank 26th when it comes to passing yards allowed to the RB position (6.25 catches a week). Both of these guys are effective through the air and you can pair either with Philip Rivers. I have a feeling it’s Austin Ekeler this week, but I’ll have plenty of exposure to both.
Jalen Richard - OAK (FanDuel $8,000 / DraftKings $3,000)
Jalen Richard led the Raiders in receiving yards last week, even though he caught just three balls. he is always a big-play threat and all it takes is one play to break these showdown slates. I don’t love the spot tonight, but he could certainly get some work if the Raiders fall behind. Great GPP play.
DFS Wide Receivers - Week 10 Picks
Keenan Allen - LAC (FanDuel $11,000 / DraftKings $9,000)
This has to be the week Keenan Allen gets off the schneid, right? For a guy that looked like a lock for 15+ fantasy points every game to start the season, he has now put up six straight games under 10 points. He’s been targeted 25 times over the past three games, but has turned that into just 154 yards and no touchdowns. The Raiders are the leagues worst team against WR’s and we just saw both Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay go crazy against these guys. If Keenan Allen stinks this week, something is probably wrong bigger than weapons being added to the offense. You can play Keenan Allen at captain as he can wake up and have 14 catches for 200 yards and two scores to no surprise. I know that sounds crazy, but this is a guy who’s been targeted 20+ times by Rivers in the past and this is a perfect match-up. If Allen isn’t in the captain spot, he should be in Flex.
Tyrell Williams - OAK (FanDuel $10,000 / DraftKings $8,000)
Tyrell Williams had his first game without a touchdown last week and he was shut down for the most part against the Lions. He matches up with Casey Hayward this week, who’s been good against WR1’s this year. Williams will still have a huge size advantage and it would be no surprise to see him return to the promised land. With that being said, I see Keenan Allen as a 3x better play in all formats.
Mike Williams - LAC (FanDuel $10,500 / DraftKings $7,400)
Mike Williams has also struggled this season, albeit 111 yards on just three catches last week. Williams somehow has ZERO touchdowns this season. He is a good red-zone threat, believe it or not, and Rivers should look to feed him here. The Raiders, as mentioned plenty, stink against the pass and Rivers should throw for 300 yards. I still much prefer Allen, but you can play both.
DFS Tight Ends - Week 10 Picks
Hunter Henry - LAC (FanDuel $12,5000 / DraftKings $8,400)
Since returning from injury five weeks ago, Hunter Henry has been targeted 38 times. He’s turned it into 29 catches for 388 yards and two touchdowns. He’s been the favorite of Philip Rivers over the past few weeks and this is an ideal match-up. The Raiders rank 30th in football against tight ends and have allowed multiple 100-plus yard games. Henry is my preferred option over Waller. He’s also worthy of captain consideration as he can catch two touchdowns in any game.
Darren Waller - OAK (FanDuel $12,000 / DraftKings $8,600)
The Chargers rank middle of the road against tight ends, but this is no usual tight end. Prior to last week, Waller was targeted at least five times in every game and saw 8+ in most. If the Chargers are going to get beat through the air, I expect it to be via Darren Waller. He’s one of the more talented tight ends and creates a huge mismatch for any secondary. After being targeted just two times last week, I expect Carr to make it a priority to get Waller the ball.
