Tuesday features just three games with a spotlight on games like Boston and Montreal, Dallas and Chicago, plus even Minnesota and New Jersey.
Remember, when looking around for plays, an over/under of 6 dictates offense, but an over/under of 5 or sometimes 5.5 tilts towards the goalies. There are at least seven games at 6.5, as that has become the new norm in hockey now. Also, please note that all three road goalies are from teams on back-to-back scenarios.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/26/19. DFS Forwards to Consider
Tyler Seguin - C, DAL vs CHI (FD - $8,100, DK - $7,700)
Seguin, along with Dallas, is starting to return to the numbers that were expected at the start of the season. The Dallas forward is listed as a right-winger on DraftKings. He now is up to 87 shots on goal in 25 games played. Also, Seguin is up to six goals and 21 points on the season. Just think, there is likely some bounce back in the goals department in-store as well. There is a limited amount of forwards to look at tonight and it is hard not to roster at least one from the Stars, who are white-hot currently (14 wins in last 16 games).
David Pastrnak - W, BOS vs MTL (FD - $9,200, DK - $8,500)
The winger keeps going and has another great matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. Even though this game is in Montreal, that matters little. Pastrnak scored a goal in their only meeting so far this year on four shots. No one would be surprised if that happened again. Keep in mind, there is no Patrice Bergeron (groin) in the lineup though that matters little with Pastrnak currently. Keep in mind, that the Montreal penalty kill is ranked 27th going up against the third-best power play in the league.
Also, Consider:
- Nico Hischier and David Krejci could be viable plays on Tuesday night.
- Taylor Hall, Patrick Kane, and Alex DeBrincat are also in plus-matchup situations on this small slate.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Torey Krug - D, BOS vs MTL (FD - $5,800, DK - $6,100)
The return of Krug was a pleasant sight and he was right back to his usual self with a three-point night on six shots. Weirdly, the defenseman is the highest-priced defender on this slate. Krug carries more value without Bergeron in the lineup as he rushes into the play with Brad Marchand and Pastrnak a lot. They also all work well together on the power play. Could Krug easily hit the net 5+ times again? It is at least possible.
John Klingberg - D, DAL vs CHI (FD - $5,100, DK - $4,600)
Klingberg is finally awakening. That was last night's headline in a few Dallas outlets. All kidding aside, the defenseman has five points in his last three games and is starting to shoot the puck more. Also, he is blocking more shots. As Klingberg increases his activity, it makes one wonder if it was confidence or a nagging injury. Either way, the stars blueliner was not much of a scorer but do not be surprised if a few more goals come his way eventually.
Also, Consider:
- Jared Spurgeon is very reasonably priced due to category filling potential.
- HINT: look at Zdeno Chara for value instead and lower ownership.
DFS Goalie to Consider
MacKenzie Blackwood - G, NJD vs MIN (FD - $7,200, DK - $7,800)
The thought process was to look at a goalie who has the best chance at a win. In theory, this would be Blackwood. Minnesota comes off a soul-crushing loss to the New York Rangers that leaves them 12-32 in three-on-three overtime since its advent. Blackwood may only face 25-30 shots at best here but again, looking for the win helps. Some may pivot to the Minnesota goalie in the hopes of a high shot count but that could be dicey.
Also, Consider:
- The other good GPP choices on Tuesday night include the Boston-Montreal game. It is either pick Jaroslav Halak or Carey Price then hope for the best. Projections suggest a high-event contest on Tuesday night (somewhere in the 65-70+ shot range combined).
