FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Thanksgiving - Daily Fantasy Football

Happy Thanksgiving, RotoBallers. There are three games on the agenda on Thursday to kick off Week 13. While it is hard to be thankful for the Bears and Lions, it is a little easier to get excited for the other two contests of the day. Before stuffing your face, be sure to keep up with the latest injury news as there are some big names who may not be available.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks in FanDuel for November 28, 2019 (Thanksgiving Day). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also consult the NFL Depth Charts and Snap Counts for more critical information this week.

FanDuel Quarterbacks - Thanksgiving DFS Picks

Matt Ryan - QB, vs. NO ($7,700)

Even over Drew Brees, Ryan may be the best option at the quarterback position on Thanksgiving. While Dak Prescott has tossed three touchdowns in three of his last four games, fantasy managers should be very concerned about his matchup against a nasty Bills Defense that has allowed just 11.49 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks on the year, which includes allowing an even more impressive 7.5 over the last two weeks. Ryan, on the other hand, has played very well against New Orleans at home throughout his career, throwing 21 touchdown tosses and only five interceptions to go along with an adequate 65.4 completion percentage. The Saints have been hit-or-miss at defending this position all season, so it isn't unlikely that Ryan could be in line for another effective performance.

Josh Allen - QB, @ DAL ($7,800)

The Cowboys Defense allowed 51 yards and a touchdown on the ground to Jeff Driskel in Week 11, which was also the first game all year that they have faced a semi-legit mobile quarterback, that is unless you count Teddy Bidgewater, and if that is the case, then it would be the second. Nonetheless, though the sophomore quarterback may struggle (at times) in the accuracy department, he is able to get it done on the ground, accumulating seven scores using his legs on the year. As long as he can hold on to the ball, which has been an issue, avoid throwing picks, and find the end zone in one way or another, he should put up some decent numbers against the Cowboys on Thursday. Sound easy enough?

Also Consider: Drew Brees ($8,500)

FanDuel Running Backs - Thanksgiving DFS Picks

Devonta Freeman - RB, vs. NOP ($6,200)

Freeman practiced sparingly on Monday but was listed as a full participant on Tuesday, which is good news regarding his availability for Thursday's divisional showdown with New Orleans. Freeman missed the past two weeks with a sprained knee, but if he is available, he could be a reliable asset for Atlanta, more so if Julio Jones isn't able to play after suffering a shoulder injury against Tampa Bay. The 27-year-old has compiled an impressive resume against the Saints throughout his career, logging a sufficient 5.5 yards per carry and seven total touchdowns in nine meetings with the club. Austin Hooper is also questionable, but likely out once again, which further adds to Freeman's stock.

Bo Scarbrough - RB, vs. CHI ($6,100)

Let's break this down, shall we? Ezekiel Elliott has played like trash lately -- for the most part -- and is going up against a Bills defense that doesn't mess around. Same situation with Alvin Kamara, except he has a little easier matchup with Atlanta. Does anyone want to pay $6,600 for an inconsistent Devin Singletary? Tarik Cohen in a half-point PPR FanDuel lineup is not worth it, and I'm not falling for Latavius Murray's recent performance against the Panthers, at least while Kamara is active. So this road leads to Scarbrough, who hasn't flashed terrific numbers, but he did get 18 attempts against the Redskins and was two yards away from hitting 100 in Week 12. On Thanksgiving, save your bread for the wideouts, and though I'm not saying that any of the guys mentioned above won't produce, I'd rather take my chances at running back and pay-up for guys like Michael Thomas.

Also Consider: Ezekiel Elliott ($8,400), Alvin Kamara ($8,300), Devin Singletary ($6.600), David Montgomery ($5,900)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Thanksgiving DFS Picks

Michael Thomas - WR, @ ATL ($9,200)

This one is a no-brainer for sure. Thomas finished Week 12 with 11 looks from Drew Brees, finishing with 10 receptions for 101 yards and a score. He has hit at least 21.1 fantasy points in each of his last four games -- with one of those performances coming against Atlanta a few weeks ago -- and has also received at least 11 targets in nine games this season. Whether it's in a dome, or in a less than favorable climate, he is going to produce as he continues to set (or will set) multiple records this year. He is the reason why I'm taking my chances with Bo out of the backfield.

Cole Beasley - WR, @ DAL ($5,800)

Beasley has a favorable outlook against his former team in Week 13. While he isn't going to rack up a ton of yardage on a consistent basis, he is always a threat to find the end zone, scoring in four of his last six games. He may have a leg-up in recognizing defensive coverage schemes after spending seven years in Dallas, and has a higher than normal upside as a result.

Also Consider: Michael Gallup ($7,100), John Brown ($6,600), Calvin Ridley ($6,500), Marvin Jones Jr. ($6,4000), Russell Gage ($5,400 - If Julio Jones is out),

FanDuel Tight Ends - Thanksgiving DFS Picks

Jared Cook - TE, @ ATL ($6,700)

Besides me with my shirt off after my Thanksgiving meal, there is nothing more disgusting than the options at the tight end position. Austin Hooper is listed as questionable, but he likely won't play, leaving Cook as the only legit option at this position. The veteran has been on a roll since returning to the lineup after missing some time with an ankle issue, catching a touchdown in each of his last two outings. In addition, he also had six receptions in Week 12, and also recorded a season-high 99 yards though the air.

Also Consider: Jaeden Graham ($4,900 - If Austin Hooper and Luke Stocker are out)

FanDuel Defenses - Thanksgiving DFS Picks

Lions Defense - DEF, vs. CHI ($4,400)

The Bears Defense may have the luxury of going up against a Lions team that not only will be out Matthew Stafford but possibly Jeff Driskel, who suffered a hamstring in Week 12. While Detroit may struggle offensively, Chicago, more specifically Mitchell Trubisky, hasn't exactly impressed either.

Also Consider: Bears Defense ($5,000), Bills Defense ($4,000)
