Draymond Green Could Play More Center
5 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green could see more time at the center position going forward. The Warriors like having Eric Paschall at the forward position, so Green is likely going to need to switch to the center spot when they play on the court together. Golden State feels that Green can guard anyone on the court, so it doesn't matter where they put him. His fantasy value really depends on how many minutes he plays and he's been injured frequently this season. Hopefully Green's value will increase when the Warriors get healthy next season.

Jae'Sean Tate Plans Summer Workouts With Draymond Green
3 years agoHouston Rockets power forward Jae'Sean Tate followed up 2020-21 All-Rookie honors by delivering a nearly identical stat line in his second professional season. But he doesn't view that as his ceiling. Mentioning a plan to workout alongside Golden State's Draymond Green in the months to come while on a podcast with former pro Andrew Bogut, Tate sees upward mobility for his all-around game and Houston's in general. Tate's minutes dipped slightly this past year (26.4 minutes per contest), but he started 77 of the team's contests. With 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists under his belt on a nightly basis -- while shooting 49.8% overall -- Tate continues to boast strong multi-category appeal heading into his third year.

Draymond Green Ejected During Game 1
3 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected during Sunday's Game 1 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. He picked up a flagrant 2 foul while attempting to deny Brandon Clarke at the rim. To be honest, it was questionable whether or not Green deserved to be ejected for that play. He finished with six points, three assists, four rebounds, and three steals in 17 minutes. The Warriors were able to get the one-point victory without Green on Sunday. The assumption is that Green will be able to suit up for Game 2.

Draymond Green To Sit Out Monday
3 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. This doesn't come as a shock since the Warriors are also resting Otto Porter Jr. and Klay Thompson. The Warriors are preparing for their playoff run, so fantasy managers should expect more of this going forward. Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II could be decent streaming options with some of the Warriors' starters sitting out on Monday.

Draymond Green To Come Off The Bench Monday
3 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (back) is set to make his return to the court in Monday's game against the Washington Wizards. The three-time NBA champ will be on a minutes limit for the game (between 20 and 23 minutes) and to help comply with this, he won't be in the starting five for the game. The Warriors' starting lineup for the game will be Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, Jonathan Kuminga and Kevon Looney. Green has been out for over two months with calf and back injuries. As he eases back into things, he will slowly start to cut into Kuminga's minutes, but the rookie should remain rostered in most fantasy leagues for now as he's been a steady producer lately.
