5 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing driver Erik Jones scored a finish of eighth in Sunday’s race at Darlington. In four starts at the South Carolina track, Jones has one win, four top-10 finishes and has scored three finishes with positive place differential. Since 2018 at Darlington, Jones ranks fourth in fastest laps (59), third in average running position (7.4) and driver rating (108.8) and second in laps in the top 15 (1,001). Darlington is one of his best tracks in the Cup Series, and he proved it once again during Sunday’s race. The driver of the No. 20 Toyota starts 15th and is a driver to recommend as a solid choice for lineups, as he will compete for a top-10 finish and pick up place differential based on his starting position.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
