Fantasy Players Should Avoid Using Clint Bowyer At Darlington
5 years agoClint Bowyer placed 17th in Sunday’s race at Darlington, and Wednesday’s race at the South Carolina track will be his 16th start there. In 15 starts at Darlington Raceway, Bowyer has two top-10 finishes and has scored only one finish with positive place differential in his last four races at the site. Darlington is Bowyer’s worst track statistically and is the only Cup Series track where he has never scored a top-five finish. Bowyer will start fourth for Wednesday’s race at “the track too tough to tame,” but do not expect him to finish there, considering he has struggled at Darlington for the majority of his career, including last Sunday’s race. Bowyer’s price looks appealing considering his equipment with Stewart-Haas Racing, but he is a driver that fantasy players should avoid for Wednesday’s race.
