Welcome back, RotoBallers! Another 4-for-5 week for my picks at Harbour Town, so there's definitely money to be had in this Monkey Knife Fight thing! Brooks Koepka going unconscious on Sunday and beating DJ in Birdies or Better was the only loss, so overall I think we're doing pretty well here. You'll notice they really juiced up the More or Less: Birdies or Better numbers this week, since most golfers who make the cut have been crushing their prop number. Let's see if that changes anything for us!
Using my PGA DFS and betting research for both DraftKings and handicapping, I'll look into some of the Monkey Knife Fight prop bets for the Travelers Championship to see which posted numbers make sense to take a stand on. More Birdies or Better: Bryson DeChambeau (+0.5) over Tony Finau
This is one of two EXTREMELY obvious selections in the Rapidfire category for me. DeChambeau is playing like one of the best players in the world. He also has awesome course history at TPC River Highlands. He should be able to hit as many long drives as he'd like, and his world-class wedge game will do damage setting up birdie and eagle chances. Finau should be +3.5 here, not the other way around.
More Birdies or Better: Patrick Cantlay over Jason Day (+0.5)
This one isn't as obvious, but still a pretty easy bet for me. Day hasn't played well consistently since like 2016. Cantlay is one of the next best golfers on the come up. He was a dynamo before the break, and I expect him to pick back up where he left off. Even if Cantlay takes the first nine holes to shake off some rust, he should still cruise past Day's birdie or better total. Fire this one up confidently.
More Birdies or Better: Dustin Johnson over Justin Rose (+0.5)
This one is very close. Rose is playing very well, and DJ is still rounding back into the form we're used to seeing from one of the best players in the world. However, I think this is the week that Johnson putts it all together. He gained the most strokes of anyone off the tee last week, and Rose went through some waves where the approach shots just weren't dialed in. I think DJ scores a few more times that Rosey in Connecticut.

Birdies or Better: Dustin Johnson MORE than 18.5
I've pretty much stated my case on DJ above. One last tidbit I'll toss in is that he birdied 20 times last week and still lost 0.2 strokes putting. If the putting comes around, 19 birdies or better is still too low of a bar for one of the best scorers on tour. Let's get hot with the putter, DJ!
Birdies or Better: Jon Rahm LESS than 19.5
Another one of the best players in the world, Rahm definitely has the ability to cruise past this number. However, the around-the-green game and putter haven't looked quite right since the layoff, and you need those medium-length putts to fall if you want to rack up birdies or better, especially on a Par 70 course. Rahm played fairly well all-around last week, and still only came up with 18 Birdies + Eagles. That number certainly can go up, but I'll go for the under and hope for a mental meltdown from the hot-headed talent this week.
