4 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Yoshihisa Hirano has been throwing bullpen sessions at the Mariners spring training facility in Peoria, Arizona as he continues to build up after testing positive for COVID-19. Greg Johns of MLB reports that Hirano should be transitioning to Tacoma soon to face live batters. As of now, the timetable for Hirano's return to the Mariners is still unknown, but seeing progress is a good sign. Once Hirano returns, he should be getting the lion's share of save opportunities for the Mariners.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
