John Means Turns In Another Poor Start Wednesday
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means fell to 0-3 Wednesday in a 9-4 loss to the Mets. Means pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and a walk with one strikeout. The 27-year-old, who had a great rookie season, has not been the same this season, compiling a bloated 8.10 ERA over 20 IP. His next start could be a rematch with the Mets, but he should be avoided at this time, regardless of matchup.
