4 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Keegan Akin improved to 1-1 in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Braves. Akin pitched five innings, allowing no runs on three hits and a walks with nine strikeouts. The 25-year-old rookie now has a 3.38 ERA with 25 strikeouts and nine walks over 18 2/3 IP this season. Akin will likely face the Red Sox on the road in a favorable matchup in his next start.
