Mo Alie-Cox No Longer A Starting Option
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox should no longer be considered as a starting option. Since a breakout Week 2 performance, Alie-Cox has caught just four balls over the last three weeks, and his snap count continues to decline. The Colts continue to feature Trey Burton in the passing game since returning from injury, so this does not give Alie-Cox a lot of opportunity to put up good fantasy numbers. Combine this with Philip Rivers struggling to throw the ball effectively, and Alie-Cox has even less value. If the last few weeks are indicative of what we can expect from Alie-Cox going forward, fantasy owners can be comfortable with putting him on the bench and possibly dropping him.
