DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/22/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CFB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

The wraparound weekend of the NCAA tournament is taking a little bit of getting used to, but who's going to say no to eight college basketball games on a Monday? You wont see me complaining. More upsets happened yesterday. More will happen today. The key is trying to identify which role players from the smaller schools will have a huge impact. For example, Loyola-Chicago had 12 steals yesterday! Those can add up in a hurry.

The implied totals are higher across the board today, so you can expect DFS scores to be higher. Gonzaga-Oklahoma has the highest total at 154.5, but the Bulldogs are still favored by 14.5. Ohio and Creighton comes in next at 149.5. Same with LSU-Michigan. Maryland-Alabama, Oregon-Iowa, and Colorado-Florida State all top 140 as well. That only leaves two games under 140 with ACU-UCLA expected to be the slowest. We could see some crazy scores atop the DraftKings leaderboard.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/22/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Austin Reaves, Oklahoma ($8,000)

It hasn't mattered who Oklahoma has played, Reaves has put up over 30 DraftKings points in every game since the blowout win against Kansas State on January 19. If the game stays close Reaves is going over 30. Gonzaga may win this game going away, but I highly doubt Reaves comes out of this game unless he's hurt or in foul trouble. He has a good floor and a nice ceiling should Oklahoma pull off the upset.

Jaime Jaquez, UCLA ($7,400)

UCLA isn't nearly as sloppy of a team as Texas is, so I have a feeling they win this game and win big. Trying to predict who will score the most points for the Bruins could be difficult, but I keep landing on Jaquez because he is probably the best stat sheet stuffer in all categories that the Bruins have. I will have either Jaquez or Johnny Juzang in every lineup. I will probably run them both at least once.

Marcus Garrett, Kansas ($6,800)

Garrett is peaking at the right time. He has had his best two games of the season in the last two games. It took Garrett some time to find his shooting stroke this year. It's finally back. Garrett has hit 15 of his 24 shots in the last two games. He has been racking up stats in every category of late and is basically carrying the Jayhawks. USC's strength is on the interior. The Jayhawks will have Jalen Wilson available for this game as well. That only helps Garrett more.

DaJuan Harris, Kansas ($4,900)

Harris helped lead the comeback against UTEP from the bench back on March 4 in what was supposed to be a tournament warm-up. Instead, it was a thrilling come-from-behind victory. Harris was good enough in that game to start the last two. He has 48.25 DraftKings points in the last two games while playing 64 minutes. Harris isn't a high usage guy, but he has eight steals and 11 assists in the last three games. That gives him a superb floor for a value play.

Also consider: Jason Preston, Ohio ($9,200), McKinley Wright, Colorado ($8,500); Aaron Wiggins, Maryland ($6,700); D'Shawn Schwartz, Colorado ($4,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Luka Garza, Iowa ($9,700)

Oregon is going to have problems with Garza, but in all fairness, most teams have. The Iowa starters were needed more than everyone thought against a pesky Grand Canyon team. The Antelopes may have lost, but their fans had the most fun of anyone in the state of Indiana. All Garza did was top 40 DraftKings points for the fourth straight game and seventh time in the last nine outings. He'll hit that against Oregon too. Garza is a low-risk guy to spend your salary on.

Drew Timme, Gonzaga ($8,200)

Most Gonzaga players aren't priced up because it has the highest spread on the slate. I think Oklahoma is going to hang around. I also know that Oklahoma can't defend the interior. The 6'10" Timme is going to be an absolute nightmare for the Sooners. If Gonzaga is willing to keep feeding Timme and Corey Kispert, that tandem could break the slate. We are that weak on the inside. Just look at what the Texas bigs did to us. The way to attack the Sooners is with size, and the Bulldogs have plenty.

Jabari Walker, Colorado ($5,000)

Walker was the best player the Ralphies had in December and January, but a bout with COVID took the end of January and most of February from the freshman. Walker has been slow to crack this rotation again. The Buffs are loaded up front. Walker's coming out party was on Saturday against Georgetown. Walker hit nine of his 10 shots, including all five threes, and racked up 33.25 DraftKings points in just 20 minutes. Colorado is going to need his outside shooting to have a chance to knock off a good Florida State team.

Jalen Hill, Oklahoma ($4,300)

Hill started in place of Da'Vion Harmon on Saturday and likely will against Gonzaga today. He racked up a solid 17.5 DraftKings points in his 23 minutes. I don't expect the minutes to go up, so Hill doesn't have much of a ceiling. However, he has a great floor as a starter at this price point. Hill is a high-energy player and will put up good peripheral stats.

Also consider: Evan Mobley, USC ($9,500); Kevin Obanor, Oral Roberts ($8,100); Elijah Harkless, Oklahoma ($7,000); Joe Pleasant, Abilene Christian ($4,900)
