4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Dane Dunning provided a strong performance in his first official game with his new club. The rookie hurler kept the Blue Jays hitters off-balance with a good mix of his secondary offerings. He allowed just three hits and one run — a Bo Bichette solo homer — over five innings of work. He did not issue a walk and struck out six batters. The Rangers took the game by a score of 7-4. Dunning came over from the Chicago White Sox during an offseason trade that saw Lance Lynn move north. The young hurler made seven starts for Chicago last season and produced a 3.97 ERA with a K-BB of 35-13 in 34 innings. He has a strong fantasy upside as a mid-rotation arm.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
