NBA DFS Prop Picks for Thursday (5/20/21) - Monkey Knife Fight

Pacers fans have more than a few reasons to be optimistic, while Wizards fans should be happy to have made it this far. Russell Westbrook put together another historic season and Bradley Beal had everyone's attention for the first few months of the season with record-breaking scoring . However, this season should come to an end at the hands of Domantas Sabonis and wingman Malcolm Brogdon. Beal has no choice but to show up this game and now that everyone's seen just how devastating a bad game from him can be to Washington's offense, it really is now or never.

There's nothing wrong with taking the over here, both Beal and Westbrook have arguably played their best basketball when their "backs were against the wall," but the added defense from Brogdon and the rest of the Pacers still fresh after a win over the Hornets adds resistance to the Wizards backcourt production. Overall, it still doesn't matter who is guarding Beal or Westbrook, both are going to get their attempts whether they go in or not.

MonkeyKnifeFight.com continues to be ahead of the curve with their canceling of contests amid postponements, so don't worry about wasting money on a player or game that might not play. As always, you can find me in the NBA Chat Room or @HalfCourtJester on Twitter with any questions, especially since lines and players are subject to change throughout the day.

IND @ WAS

Bradley Beal (WAS) LESS 31.5 Points - Domantas Sabonis (IND) MORE 25.5 Points

Bradley Beal wasn't the only Wizard to have a bad start to the playoffs and it doesn't help that his second game will be the first time he's lining up against both Malcolm Brogdon and Justin Holiday. The Pacers defense is good, but not near enough to keep him from scoring altogether, and another not-so-great game from an already fatigued Beal could easily hold him under 30-points. It's not that teams have figured out Beal, but with all the effort he's put into this season, it's seems that along with Russell Westbrook, two players can only do so much.

Domantas Sabonis owned the Wizards backcourt before and after the Daniel Gafford trade, so the Wizards should just be lucky Caris LeVert hasn't announced he's playing to add to their woes. In the last three games against Washington, Sabonis has scored a combined 97 points. The Wizards will, once again, have to rely on scoring to keep up, so the only thing holding Sabonis back would be teammates playing well or just a bad shooting night.
