Cubs @ Mets
More or Less Contest
Marcus Stroman more than 5.5 strikeouts and Kyle Hendricks less than 4.5 strikeouts
The Cubs have struggled quite a bit against right-handers over the previous 10 days and are posting a K rate of 30.7%, which is ranked worst in baseball. Marcus Stroman has been balling this season and has allowed zero or one earned run in three of his previous four starts. He has also eclipsed this strikeout total in each of his previous three starts and four of his previous five starts.
Kyle Hendricks is a bit tricky but he has failed to reach this total in three of his previous five starts and a total of eight starts on the season. While the Mets have not been world-beaters against right-handers, they are posting just a 22.7% K rate against them over the previous 10 days and are also posting the sixth-best wRC+ mark over that span with a mark of 125,

Brewers @ Rockies
More or Less Contest
Brandon Woodruff more than 6.5 strikeouts and German Marquez more than 5.5 strikeouts
This matchup pits two high K rate teams against two high K rate pitchers. Currently, the Rockies are posting a K rate of 28.4% over the previous 10 days, which is ranked sixth-worst over that span. They are also posting a lowly 61 wRC+ mark over that same span, which is ranked last in baseball. Woodruff has struck out at least seven in five of his previous seven starts and has done it eight times on the season.
The Brewers are striking out at a worse rate than the Rockies and are posting a K rate of 28.8% vs. right-handers over the previous 10 days, which is ranked third-worst in baseball over that span. Marquez has been solid at home with a 3.99 ERA and 51 strikeouts across 49 2/3 innings pitched. He has also gone over 5.5 strikeouts in six of nine home starts this season.

Star Shootout: Late Games
More or Less Contest
Shohei Ohtani more than 7.5 strikeouts and Joe Musgrove less than 7.5 strikeouts
Ohtani gets the Tigers tonight who are striking out the ninth-most in baseball against right-handers over the previous 10 days with a rate of 24.8%. Ohtani has gone over 7.5 strikeouts in each of his last two starts and three of his previous five starts. He has also posted a 1.85 ERA at home with 36 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings pitched.
Musgrove will be facing the Reds who are posting a K rate of 24,1% over the previous 10 days but are also posting a solid 101 wRC+ mark over that same span. Musgrove has only gone over this total twice in his previous nine starts and has failed to go over it in three of his previous four. The previous 15 right-handed starting pitchers have also failed to reach this total against the Reds, including Freddy Peralta yesterday who only managed to strike out six Reds.
