Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 MLB season is alive and well and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.
Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props as well as hitter props in which you determine if the pitcher or hitter in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to look at one pitcher's strikeout props. Let's see what the board offers today!

Single Stat MLBP Totals
Chase De Jong over 4 strikeouts - De Jong has gone over this total in three of his four starts thus far in 2021 and will be facing the White Sox who have struggled over the previous 10 days against right-handed pitching. They are currently posting a K rate of 28.6%, which is ranked third-worst in all of baseball. They are also posting a wRC+ mark of just 46, which is ranked second-worst in baseball. Add in the fact that they will be playing in an NL park where Dylan Cease will have to bat and it certainly helps the cause for the over in this one.
Vincent Velasquez under 5 strikeouts - I do wish this number was 5.5 instead of five, but he should still be able to stay under the total on this one. Washington is posting a K rate of just 19.4% against right-handers over the previous 10 days, which is ranked fifth-best in baseball. They are also posting a wRC+ mark of 148 over that same span, which is ranked third-best in baseball. Velasquez has gone under this total or pushed in each of his previous six starts. He also faced these Nationals back on June 6th and went under the total by striking out four.
Justus Sheffield under 4.5 strikeouts - Sheffield will be facing the Colorado Rockies who are posting just a 17.6% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous 10 days, which ranks third-best in all of baseball. They are also posting a 149 wRC+ mark, which should give Sheffield plenty of problems in this. Sheffield has also failed to reach five strikeouts in five of his previous six games.
Jose Urquidy over 5 strikeouts -Urquidy will be facing the Orioles tonight who are posting a K rate of nearly 30% against right-handed pitching over the previous 10 days, which is ranked second-worst in baseball. They are also walking at just a 5.2% rate and posting an 86 wRC+ mark over that same span. He has gone over this total or matched it in his previous four starts and these Orioles have the highest K rate of all of the teams he has faced over that span.
