Happy Sunday gang! Hope you all have had a great weekend so far. We have a nice 101-game slate this afternoon, so let's jump right into it and see how we can optimize our DraftKings MLB DFS for this beautiful Sunday.
There shouldn't be any major weather issues today. The only game that is shaky would be Boston, but I plan on playing a Red Sock in my lineup today unless the situation seems to get worse.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/25/2021. The lineup will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Yu Darvish - SD @ MIA ($10,500)
The best pitching option on the slate today. He's had back to back tough starts but should be able to turn it around against the Marlins who strike out at a decently high clip and generally haven't hit righties well this season.
Touki Touissant - ATL @ PHI ($5,900)
I'm not necessarily riding the Touki hype train after one start, but he does provide a solid value play against the Phillies who have been extremely volatile this season. They're cold right now and hit lefties better than righties, so Touki is in a decent spot here.
Other Options: John Means ($9,300), Zack Greinke ($10,000)

DraftKings DFS Infielders
Eric Haase - C, DET @ KC ($4,500)
The young stud for Detroit has absolutely crushed lefties this season. He's rocking a 50% hard contact rate against southpaws this season. Pair that with an absolutely insane 1.382 wOBA + ISO over his last 22 AB against LHP and you have a catcher worth paying for in the mid-tier.
Miguel Cabrera - 1B, DET @ KC ($2,900)
I like Miggy as a value option in the four spot of this Tigers lineup. I'll be looking to stack Detroit against David Lynch, who comes into today's matchup with a 6.17 xFIP on the year. Miggy still has it against southpaws as he's got a 49.1% hard contact rate against them this season.
Jose Altuve - 2B, HOU vs TEX ($5,300)
Another guy who's hit lefties this year, with a 40.2% hard contact rate. He's also on a little hot streak, dropping three bombs in his last four games.
Jeimer Candelario - 3B, DET @ KC ($4,100)
The final guy in my Tigers stacks today. He's got a 50% hard contact rate against left-handers and a fantastic .647 wOBA + ISO in his last 27 at-bats against them.
Amed Rosario - SS, CLE vs TB ($4,100)
Another lefty killer, this time against Ryan Yarbrough. He's got a 45.8% hard contact rate against lefties this season and a .632 wOBA + ISO against them in his last 28 at bats.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Enrique Hernandez - 2B/OF, BOS vs NYY ($3,900)
I can't believe he's this cheap, especially hitting leadoff in an offense that can score like Boston's. He's 9-21 in his last five games along with three doubles and homers apiece, along with a triple. Peripherals are a big part here also, as he's got seven runs scored and eight RBI since Tuesday. I don't see the Sox struggling to hit German today so I think he stays hot.
Yordan Alvarez - OF, HOU vs TEX ($5,300)
This will likely be a bullpen day for Texas, with Taylor Hearn starting the game. Alvarez doesn't care what hand anyone pitches with, he just rakes. He's got a 48.1% hard contact rate against southpaws this year, so I'm not too worried about the platoon "disadvantage".
Michael Brantley - OF, HOU vs TEX ($3,300)
Another guy who it doesn't matter who he faces, as he's what I like to call a "professional hitter". He owns a 42.9% hard contact rate against lefties, and will fit nicely in my Astros stacks.
DraftKings DFS Stacks
- Detroit Tigers vs. David Lynch
- Houston Astros vs. Taylor Hearn/Rangers Bullpen
- Toronto Blue Jays vs. Rich Hill
- Cincinnati Reds vs. Johan Oviedo
