NFL DFS Prop Picks for Monkey Knife Fight - Ravens vs. Raiders Monday Night Football

Welcome to the season opener for Monday Night Football between the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders! Tonight's game means our friends at Monkey Knife Fight are offering some fantastic props for us to play.

Our friends at Monkey Knife Fight offer some of the coolest, and easiest to win, NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no massive tournaments where you have to get ridiculously lucky just to cash because, at MKF, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the house, and the dudes at MKF have fallen all over themselves to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a $100 deposit bonus.

As always, there are some solid props we can look to take advantage of in tonight's game, so let's get to the picks!

Ravens @ Raiders More or Less Contest

Recommended Prop Pick:

Derek Carr less than 260.5 passing yards and Lamar Jackson more than 220.5 passing yards

You did not read the above incorrectly. Most would look at these props and have them reversed, but I think this is a spot where we could see Carr throw the ball a bit less and Lamar throw it a bit more.

We will start with Derek Carr who will be going up against a pretty tough pass defense in Baltimore as they allowed quarterbacks to throw for just 236 passing yards per game in 2020. This feels like a game the Raiders can work to slow down with Josh Jacobs in the backfield leading the way as Baltimore did allow running backs to rush for over 88 yards per game. While the Raiders are four-point underdogs in this one, I think this game is a very close one in which either team is capable of winning in Week 1. I say that because of the dire situation in Baltimore's backfield.

Baltimore lost J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill to season-ending injuries prior to the start of the season and will now have to rely on Ty'Son Williams, and Trenton Cannon and Le'Veon Bell to carry the load with Williams being the feature back. This means that Lamar Jackson will be asked to do more than he has ever done through the air and there is no better time to start that than against these Las Vegas Raiders. In 2020, the Raiders allowed quarterbacks to throw for nearly 256 passing yards per game, which was ranked sixth-worst in the league. Look for this to be a closer game than many expect with Lamar Jackson leading the way for the Ravens through the air.

Ravens @ Raiders Touchdown Dance

Recommended Prop Pick:

Josh Jacobs, Mark Andrews, and Ty'Son Williams to combine for over 1.5 touchdowns

Due to the fact that I like Carr under passing in this game and think Vegas will run the ball a bit more, I think Jacobs finds the end zone. As aforementioned, Baltimore allowed backs to rush for over 88 yards per game in 2020 and also allowed them to haul in nearly 37 receiving yards per game. While they did not allow many touchdowns, Jacobs was able to score 12 rushing touchdowns on the season and had four games in which he scored at least twice. He must be included in this play from an opportunity perspective.

Next up, we have Mark Andrews. Andrews is a favorite target of Jackson as he was targeted 88 times in 2020, which was second behind only Marquise Brown. He also hauled in seven touchdowns, which is excellent to note when you consider the Raiders allowed the second-most red-zone targets to the tight end position with 26. Andrews should be targeted often in this one and has a great shot at getting in the end zone.

Lastly, we have Ty'Son Williams. While I do think Lamar and the Ravens throw a bit more in this one, Williams will still receive a solid amount of work. In 2020, the Raiders allowed the 10th-most red-zone touches to running backs by allowing 76. They also gave up a total of 16 rushing touchdowns to backs as well as four receiving touchdowns. These ranked fifth-worst and ninth-worst, respectively. When the Ravens do get in the red-zone in this one, Williams should certainly have a role.
