PrizePicks NFL DFS Prop Picks - Ravens vs. Raiders Monday Night Football

darren waller fantasy football rankings news NFL DFS lineup picks

Hello everybody and welcome! The 2021 NFL season is finally underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NFL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NFL, Single Stat consists of quarterback passing yards, running back rushing yards, and wide receiver receiving yards in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some props for the Monday night opener between the Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders.

Fantasy Score NFL Totals and Single-Stat Totals

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Lamar Jackson over .5 rushing touchdowns - Jackson will likely be asked to shoulder a heavy load in this game and that is a good reason to put him into the end zone on this one. In 2020, Jackson scored rushing touchdowns in six different games. He will be breaking in a new running back in Ty'Son Williams and will likely be the primary ball carrier in this game. The Raiders allowed five rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks in 2020 and also allowed the sixth-most red-zone touches with 16.

Derek Carr under 259.5 passing yards - This could prove to be a tough game for Carr and the Raiders as the Ravens only allowed an average of 235 passing yards per game in 2020. The Raiders will also want to keep this game close by trying to establish a run game with Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. The Ravens did allow backs to rush for nearly 90 yards per game in 2020, which was ranked 16th in the league. Look for this to be a close game with two balanced rushing attacks.

Darren Waller over 5.5 receptions - While I do like the under for Carr, I do think that Darren Waller will be the main beneficiary when he does decide to throw the ball. In 2020, the Ravens allowed the fifth-most catches to tight ends by giving up a total of 84. Waller also went over this total in nine games last season and matched it in another four games. Add in the fact that the Ravens are the team Waller used to suit up for and you have a recipe for some major success.

Other Recommendations:  Ty'Son Williams over 11.5 fantasy score, Lamar Jackson over 24.0 fantasy score, Ty'Son Williams over 58.5 rushing yards.

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
