Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! We're a full week through the NBA season now, I hope that it's treated you well. I've been on a rather hot streak to start the season, including last night where I used a lot of people moving up to AD after the LeBron news to pivot to Tobias Harris and Russell Westbrook, who combined for 109.3 FD points at a combined price of $16,500. This proved to be profitable as I was able to cash in double-ups as well as GPPs and quintuple-ups with my cash lineup. Enough of last night, though, let's take a look at tonight.
Tonight we have a nice big slate, with 10 games on tap. With FanDuel adding multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!
Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/27/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Russell Westbrook, PG/SG - at OKC ($8,400)
Speaking of Russell Westbrook, he dropped 63 FD points last night, and then FanDuel responds by dropping his price? Interesting to say the least. Westbrook has the highest motor of LA's "big three", and while I expect LeBron to be in tonight, I expect Russ to play as many minutes necessary until the game gets out of hand. This will be the Lakers' first back-to-back of the season, so I'm not fully locking Russ in just yet. However, he's logged 34+ minutes in each game so far, and 43+ FD points in his last three after his brutal opening night last Tuesday.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG/SG - vs LAL ($7,100)
SGA has had a rather slow start to the season, but picked it up in his last two outings, logging 52.2 and 39.2 FD points respectively. It's the second leg of a back-to-back, so he's another tentative name to watch here. However, it appears he's starting to heat up a bit and now gets a solid matchup against the Lakers who should also have some tired legs on the backend of their back-to-back. FanDuel kept his price the same, making him a solid high-upside play in the mid-tier tonight.
De'Anthony Melton, PG/SG - at POR ($5,500)
Melton has filled the flex 1/2 position role excellently during the absence of Dillon Brooks. He's had at least 27+ FD points in the Grizzlies' first three games, including two 20 "real-life" point performances. I can't believe his price is still under $6,000, but we sure will take the value on a ten-game slate like tonight. Melton has a high-paced west coast matchup against Portland tonight, a team that has allowed at least 116 points in each of their first three games this season.
Also consider: Paul George ($10,500), Eric Bledsoe ($6,200)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Nickeil Alexander-Walker, PG/SF - vs ATL ($6,100)
Alexander-Walker has had a great start to this season so far, logging at least 31 FD points in each of the Pelicans' first four games. He's been all over the court, logging points, boards, and assists, and his peripherals have produced great upside at his relatively low price. His price has raised slightly from the beginning of the year, but it's still too low in my opinion. He draws a great matchup with Trae Young and the Hawks in what should be a high-paced, high-scoring game.
Franz Wagner, SF/SG - vs CHA ($4,700)
The eighth overall pick in the 2021 draft has had a quality start to the season, logging 10+ "real-life" points in each game this season, and at least 26+ FD points in three of his first four outings as a pro. He certainly gets a boost against the Hornets tonight, and while the Magic have been a punching bag in most of their games this season, Wagner has been getting his. It's reasonable to expect him to hit value tonight, and he's been relatively low-owned on most slates this season.
Anthony Edwards, SF/SG - at MIL ($8,000)
Anthony Edwards has had a great start to his sophomore campaign, logging at least 19 points in each of the first three games so far this season. This has been good for at least 39+ FD points in each game on the year. He gets what should be a high-paced game against Milwaukee tonight. With Giannis likely defending Karl Anthony-Towns for most of the game, I expect Edwards and D'Angelo Russell to get a slight boost in usage and Edwards to have a solid night and easily hitting 5x value.
Also consider: Brandon Ingram ($8,200), Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,200)
FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jonas Valanciunas, C - vs ATL ($7,500)
After settling in with the Pelicans, JoVal has absolutely dominated for the Pelicans sans Zion Williamson. In his last two games, he's put up absolutely INSANE numbers; logging 74 minutes, 42 points, and 40 rebounds. His price did jump up a bit from Monday night, but he's still a solid option at the center position as long as Zion Williamson is out. He gets a plus matchup in a high-paced game against the Hawks, who struggle against the Center position.
Mason Plumlee, C - at ORL ($5,900)
A bit more of an upside play here, as I'm not sure how many minutes Plumlee will play tonight. He's scored at least 25 FD points in each game this season, but his minutes have varied between 22 and 36. If he ends up playing 27+ minutes I think he's a great value play, but I can't guarantee that will be the case. With P.J. Washington out for the Hornets, I think it's reasonable, though. Regardless, he's my favorite GPP center tonight and has a true 40+ FD point upside in a soft matchup against Orlando.
Also consider: Steven Adams ($7,000), Precious Achiuwa ($4,900)
